Camp Purpose: Back to regular high school prep cross country camp, but in Matías Roger’s honor. This camp is open to students entering 10-12th grades for the 23-24 school year. Our goal is to help students jumpstart their summer’s training, learn how to lead others, and ultimately make great connections with other fellow runners in the community.

Location: Zephyr Point Conference Center (3 hour drive time from Brentwood)

Transportation plans include carpool by chaperones out to Lake Tahoe & back. On site, camp staff will have their own vehicles and Coach Eric will have a 15 passenger van.

  • Departure: Monday, 6/12 @11am From Veteran’s Park, Brentwood

  • ArrivaL: Saturday, 6/17 @2:30pm at Veteran’s Park, Brentwood

CAMP EXPECTATIONS

The main intent is to allow an opportunity for key student athletes to learn how to be better leaders and jumpstart their cross country season’s training.

  • must be ready to exercise & partake in ALL team activities (this is not a vacation)

  • Print & Sign camp mayo waiver forms

    • This includes the possibility of being expelled from camp in the case of behavior. It would require a parent to pick up the athlete from camp by the end of the next day at camp.
