Hutchinson Lodge
Built in 1924 as a winter retreat for lovers of the Sierra Nevada, Hutchinson Lodge, originally named the Sierra Ski Club, is a rustic, un-staffed lodge situated in the woods next door to Clair Tappaan Lodge. It is enjoyed year-round by a variety of groups. Guests bring their own bedding, towels, toiletries, and food. The lodge has a fully equipped kitchen, two sleeping lofts with sleeping pads, a 8-person sauna, showers, and toilets. Two efficient wood burning stoves provide heat.
Capacity: 19 [18 athletes + coach eric
- Room 1: "Girls Loft" - [8 Athletes]
- Room 2: "Boys Loft" - [8 Athletes]
- Room 3: "Living Room" - [2 Athletes] (Mixed Gender) & Coach Eric + Addl. Chaperone
Lofts include 8 sleeping pads each. If you are in loft, you just need to bring sleeping bag. Living room sleeping is either on couch with sleeping bag or bring your own sleeping pad w/ bag if you prefer that instead.
