WINTER TRACK

The winter track programs are being offered by Delta Limitless Running Club for highly motivated athletes looking to improve their fitness in track & field. The goal of our team is to provide a foundation for all of our athletes to be successful in the spring's school track season. This program is optional and is offered to benefit our local, aspiring athletes. Only athletes that are serious about the sport track & field should sign up for these programs. Any athlete that is not cooperating or causing disruption will be dropped for the remainder of the season without a refund.

 

  • Season Dates: December 4, 2017 - February 3, 2018
  • Practice Times: 3:45-5:20pm (Weekdays), 9:00-11:00am (Saturdays)
  • Practice Schedule: Depends on program of choice, 3-6 practices per week.
  • Practices: All practices are optional. We encourage our athletes to come to as many as possible.
  • Clearance: Complete the emergency/clearance paperwork before the start of season.
  • Practice Clothes: Athletes should be dressed in appropriate running attire, layering when necessary.
  • Rain?: We practice in rain and wind. We only cancel due to thunder/lightning & will notify ASAP.
  • Meet Schedule: Available in December.
  • Uniforms: Please visit our team store. We encourage all of our athletes to race in any of our team singlets.
  • Meet Transportation: The team doesn't provide transportation. Athletes will be expected to set up their own rides.
  • Meet Costs: Most meets are open to all usually charge a fee of $5-$10. Athletes pay for themselves.

If your program includes any of the below days, expect the following format:

  • Mon: Medium run

  • Tues: Hard run

  • Wed: Easy run

  • Thur: Hard run

  • Fri: Medium run

  • Sat: Long run

GROUPED TRAINING

Ever try training alone? It is difficult, and it is boring. We group every athlete for every run based on level of fitness. This adds a social aspect and helps improves athletes at the most efficient rate.

MEET NEW FRIENDS

Rivals from school teams come together with the mutual goal of becoming the best they can be. We dismiss the thought that we can't be friends or train with our competition.

GET FASTER

Over 9 weeks, we provide the opportunity for consistent training during the toughest time of the year to train. With motivation, Limitless runners will not just stay in shape, but get even better during the "offseason" and be shown that during our race opportunities.
