PRIORITY REGISTRATION IS BEING GIVEN TO THOSE IN THE JUNE PROGRAM. IF ANY SPOTS ARE STILL AVAILABLE AFTER 3PM ON FRIDAY, JULY 3RD @3PM, YOU MAY SIGN UP AS A NEW ATHLETE. IF NOT, YOU WILL SEE A SOLD OUT SIGN FOR THE PRODUCT.

  • Program Length: Mon, July 6th - Sat, August 8th (5 weeks)

      • Practice Days: Mon-Sat (each group meets 4x a week)

      • Practice Time Rotations: 8:30am-10:00am & 10:15am-11:45am

      • Ages: Incoming 6th Graders & older

Limitless will continue with small packs of approximately 12 students to follow the Contra Costa County Health Service guidelines. The program length will go until possible start of high school cross country season in mid August.

***The practice schedule is subject to change as allowance may give us the ability to start condensing groups and allowing more runners into the program. This will ONLY be the case if we are given the clearance by the county.

  • 7/6-7/11: Veteran’s Park

  • 7/13-7/18: Oak Meadow Park

  • 7/20-7/25: Heron Park

  • 7/27-8/1: Veteran’s Park (mornings if school is postponed, PM practices if school is in session 3:45 & 5:30)

  • 8/3-8/8: Oak Meadow Park (mornings if school is postponed, PM practices if school is in session - start times 3:45 & 5:30)

How will Coach Eric coach?

After consulting with a rep from the Coronavirus Call Center, I am able to make the judgment on if I can coach different groups of 12. I feel that it is safest for me to take on the responsibility to ensure that I coach each small group from start to finish of practice. I plan on having three-four small groups that I’ll follow social distancing with, but can only coach one of those groups at a time.

For example, our daily practice schedule will rotate groups as follows if there are three different ability groups:

MONDAY

  • GREEN: 8:30-10:00am

  • GOLD: 10:15-11:45am

TUESDAY

  • BLACK: 8:30-10:00am

  • GREEN: 10:15-11:45am

WEDNESDAY

  • GOLD: 8:30-10:00am

  • BLACK: 10:15-11:45am

THURSDAY

  • GREEN: 8:30-10:00am

  • GOLD: 10:15-11:45am

FRIDAY

  • BLACK: 8:30-10:00am

  • GREEN: 10:15-11:45am

SATURDAY

  • GOLD: 8:30-10:00am

  • BLACK: 10:15-11:45am

If there is a fourth group that needs to be added, groups will then rotate through three different practice times to allow each group to meet with me 4x a week. The third practice time that would be added in the rotation, if needed, would be 5:45-7:15pm.

How will athletes know which group they are with?

Athletes in the June program will be most likely placed in the same group, if you’d like to change groups, please let me know as I’ll only switch groups once every three weeks. Before being assigned a group, each athlete MUST complete the “Cooper Test”. The Cooper Test is simple. To complete it, simply run as far as you can in 12 minutes and record the distance. Send how far you run to me via email or text. If you want to start on the first day, you’ll need to complete the test by Sunday, June 7th. You will not be placed in a group until you complete the test.

I will be placing each athlete with those that completed the Cooper test with the most similar results. You are asked to do this test as a lot may have changed in the three months since regular practice has ceased. I want to be sure you can keep up with others in your group. You will not be able to change groups throughout this program, so it is very important to have placed in the group so that we follow CCHS guidelines.

Will there be any races?

We are planning for a low key 5k race on July 4th for members. The race will either be run as a practice with the group or we will have a larger group if we are allowed to by the CCHS by July.
